Love can do it all... bollocks! It is obvious that love CAN’T do it all. People usually say this without even thinking about it. Now, let me tell you sunshine, I know you find it romantic, quaint or even poetic. Well... IT ISN’T. There’s a thin line between romantic and mawkish, and this overused saying is certainly to the second bloody side of the line, understood? I hate being the one saying it to you folks, but you are being delusional when you say this crap. To prove my point let me tell you this: if LOVE can do it ALL, then I'd like to see it cure cancer, repair the ozone layer, stop drug traffic and feed the poor. See? Love can’t pull that shit out! It really can’t do anything but two things: one would be to make your life a lot less of a burden, and the second, which, might I add happens most of the time, is to fuck things up! Want examples? Haven’t people who had loved their children very much and overprotected them because of it turned them into thousands of psychopathic, repressed, neurotic, and all kinds of useless and noxious people? Didn’t Troy got smouldered because of love? Let me go further. Hasn’t the United States bombed the fuck out of some countries just because they LOVE THEIR COUNTRY? The same goes for the Middle East and that reminds me: hasn’t the church killed thousands just because they “love” God and want to spread their “love”? I mean, honestly, has love done anything to stop the global warm, hunger, rapes, massacres or a possible nuclear holocaust? No, this love is everything crap hasn’t accomplished nothing but to sell a lot of teddy bears, chocolate and retarded balloons. If the mentioned events are even going to be stopped it will not be because of love, it will be, without a doubt, self-interest; survival and not love. Now, I know that it’s a nice feeling, it gives you confidence, and it keeps the species alive, but it can’t do everything! However, I would like to add some factors, which might able to provide some genuine credibility to this “love can do it all” rubbish, and those are responsability, good judgment, persistency, consistency, and something we humans have clearly forgotten nowadays: communication. So remember, all of you who read this rant, and never forget even though what I’m about to say is also truly corny:
Responsability, good judgement, persistency, consistency, communication and love PROBABLY could do it all!
P.S. And please, kick the next guy in the nuts or cuntpunt the girl who ever says that love is everything.
